Faelu looked up at the stars wondering at the day that had been, the blood the fighting,
no less than a breath of arriving to be thrown into the bright flame of battle.
Her wound teased her as she walked towards her billet, the small decorated tent shimmered
from it's gold patterns women into purple from the ever watching gaze of moonlight.
Inside Faelu sat and stoked the small brazier to see inside. The comfort was not
unbearable it was adequate enough. A small decorated cot and table with wine and a goblet
placed. She was tempted to drink, the fighting had made her parched but she instead began
to undress, the clothes and armor heavied with dried blood.
It was quite silent in camp, the odd voice in the night the footsteps of the sentry
in passing. Faelu began to relax sitting on the cot and sliding off her boots.
"Found a place....a place..a beginning..."
Faelu almost jumped and took a deep breath her eyes rolling upwards in relief upon hearing the
voices. They were calm and surreal like the wind gently blowing through the forests all around
but she knew them well. She called them "The three" for they had been there so long always all
at once, always when Faelu was alone and ever since she had come of age.
Faelu leaned forward stretching "Yes...A place, a start"
Out of the corner of her eye she could see the misty forms starting to manifest the shapes of the
three, bright and dark all at once, startling yet beautiful the eyes bright but still to any
who saw them would know them to be of the dead. The three were ancestors driven to follow the last
of the bloodline, knowing , watching, guiding held in the plain of life to watch Faelu thrive or fail.
The three spoke "You have slain?..Blood we know the sight...the taste..."
Faelu stretched and rolled into the cot wrapping in a fine women blanket and fidgiting until she was
comfortable, she looked strangly vunerable, inoocent and beautiful there, a contradiction in all that nature
could be.
"Orks..Men...Some.." Faelu yawned leaning into her pillow as the three seemed to kneel around her cot
gazing and almost dancing on the air. "The magnificent...magnificent..." The three echoed in unison around her.
Faelu frowned a little wishing they were gone but at the same time felt a dark joy at their presence, wondering
how strange it would be if they were not there. "Kalerion..." Faelu said quietly.
The three motioned to eachother as if talking to themselves without words.
"Make a name...make a legacy...build again..you must!..."
Faelu thought for a moment sighing feeling more now the aches from the days rigours.
" I shall make a name...Make a Legacy...Rebuild..."
The three watched over Faelu as the flames began to lower on the brazier, she was falling asleep slowly comforted
now by the dying of the night, knowing the three were watching.
She felt on of them touch her forehead. A strange sensation as if a creature of ice were gently breathing on the skin.
"Safe here...Yes, safe...safe..." The three stayed as they always did and Faelu's gentle sighs turned into deep restful breaths
as the three spoke once more gently into her ear. "Watch for the daggers that hide woth deceipt that are not the true
hearts for Khaine..."
