Hate is what drives every single Black Guard, although in some individuals it manifests differently. In case of Xiveria, it does so in a manner of cold contempt, regardless of to whom it is targeted. She can stare at her own "comrades" as cannon fodder should they fail on the battlefield at least ones, since "Survival of the fittest" is the law that gas been engraved into her mind since her being chosen to serve as one of Malekith's personal enforcers during her birth.
Ever since beginning of her training in Naggarond, the life was a struggle to survive and prove herself to be better than other fledgling warriors. that wouldn't shed any tears if anyone else is gone. Ruthlessness became hidden by a cold expressionless demeanor. "If they can't pierce the veil of cold, they can't harm me." - this motto served her well, as she proved to be far more unpredictable during duels to the death among trainees. Malekith was present during some of such duels, finding the demeanor amusing, but favouring those who'd show their savagery. Regardless of it, she kept to her cold and calculative demeanor. Strangely enough to everyone, including the Witch King himself, that demeanor let her prevail against the opponents thrown at her.
As her life continued, and she matured, the cold veil matured as well, turning into complete stone wall between her feelings, if she had anything left there, and the outside world. As of yet no one but her knows for sure what is hidden inside it. With said "inner peace" she took solemn oaths to Witch King, swearing loyalty till death claims her.
As a Black Guard, Xiveria is an example of fortitude, with her cold determination letting her shrug off wounds that are not crippling, as she marches with trail of Asur corpses laying behind her: a necessity on a way to glory. Fixated to leave no enemy on her path left standing she carves her own path towards it.
